All of these artworks are a thick pastiche of brilliant oil pastel
 and oil sticks on either canvas or rag paper
 applied in layers, dried and fixed archivally.
 Like her block prints. Mary's images are a distinctive collection
 of very colorful textiles, flowers, chairs and pottery
 formed into a setting of contemplative solace.
